You check the time before you check how you feel. Phone before your feet hit the floor. Not to scroll. To see if anything went wrong while you slept.
Your chest is tight before you have even left the bedroom. You do not notice because it has been tight for so long it just feels like you. Your shoulders hover instead of settle. Your jaw is holding something your mind has not caught up with yet. Your breath is shallow and short and you have not taken a full exhale since you woke up.
Coffee hits your lips while you are emptying the dishwasher with one hand and replying to a message that could have waited. You do not eat breakfast and you do not feel hungry until your hands are shaking.
You snap at your child when their shoes aren’t on yet. The guilt is instant and you make a mental note to order that game she wanted to make up for it. You won’t remember by lunchtime.
You open your laptop already depleted and nobody on the other side of the screen can tell. You say yes to take on extra work because ‘their’ needs feel more important than your own. You work through the one window you had for lunch. Your stomach tightens. Your digestion has not worked properly in months and you have stopped questioning why.
By evening you should rest. You absolutely know it, still, you clean. You scroll. You eat the thing you said you wouldn’t. You go to bed far later than you should because going to bed means tomorrow starts.
And tomorrow is today again.

When your nervous system has been running in protection mode for long enough, it stops being a response and starts being the baseline. Your body forgets what it feels like to not be braced. Your digestion runs on low power because your system is routing everything to survival.
Your skin flares because inflammation is a stress response, not just a skin problem. Your sleep is shallow because your body does not feel safe enough to go deep. Your immune system is compromised because it has been deprioritised for years.
When the system starts to come down, and it can, you do not just feel calmer. You feel like you are living in a different body. Because physiologically, you are.
The Four Weeks
Week 1: Stabilise
Grounding breath only. Extended exhale. Nasal. Down-regulating. We are building the ground the change will stand on.
Week 2: Release
Kapalabhati and Bhastrika. Activating pranayama. The breath becomes the discharge mechanism. The body moves what it has been holding.
Week 3: Repair
Conscious connected breath, full nasal. After two weeks of capacity building, the nervous system has earned the depth.
Week 4: Expand
Full SOMA Breathwork with breath holds. The holds only arrive here because they require genuine internal safety.
What Changes
The morning stops being a launch sequence. You wake up and lie there for a moment. Not calculating. Just arriving.
You eat breakfast. Sitting down. Before the coffee. Because your body asked and you heard it.
The snap at your child stops happening on autopilot. Not because you became more patient. Because the system underneath the patience is no longer running on empty before 8am.

Who Is Holding This
I am Lauren Lepley. Trauma-Informed Functional Health Practitioner. I work across nervous system regulation, somatic breathwork, functional health and trauma-informed practice.
I do not look at isolated symptoms. I read the whole person. Physiology, nervous system, trauma patterns, behaviour, identity, relationships, capacity, legacy. Everything affects everything. That is Spherical Transformation. And re:calibrate is where it begins.
I have lived trauma, chronic illness, cancer, burnout and recovery. I know what it is to keep functioning while a body is carrying more than it should ever have had to hold. I also know what it is to realise that the functioning itself had become the cage. I educated myself relentlessly to understand the deeper links between trauma, the nervous system, health, behaviour, resilience and human potential so I could change my own life from the inside out.
